How do I get the smallest file?
Lower the quality slider and pick a lower resolution. For on-screen reading, 50–60% quality at Medium resolution usually cuts the size dramatically while still looking clean.
Will the text still be selectable?
Because pages are flattened to images, the result is a picture-perfect copy but the text is no longer selectable or searchable. For scans that’s no loss; for text documents, keep the quality higher.
